Hit a paywall
Symptoms
- "No active subscription found." banner
- Redirection to Billing when trying to open a tire page, vehicle page, or pattern page
Questions to check
- Do you have a current subscription? (Check the Billing page — should show "Active")
- Did you just register and skip the plan picker?
- Are you on a trial that may have ended?
- Is your company on a free plan (set manually by admins)?
How the paywall works
The catalog endpoints check subscription status before returning data. If your company doesn't have an active subscription, you see the paywall.
API-key-authenticated requests use a different access tier and can hit catalog data without a user-subscription check.
Fix
Start or renew a subscription:
- Go to Billing (top nav).
- Pick a plan (or click Manage Subscription if you had one).
- Complete checkout on Stripe.
See Manage subscription and Subscription plans for details.
After subscribing
The paywall lifts on the next page load (usually within seconds). If the paywall persists more than a minute after a successful checkout:
- Sign out and back in to force a fresh company lookup
- Try in an incognito window
- Contact support if neither helps
Common pitfalls
User has a subscription but the company record wasn't updated
This can happen if there was a brief service disruption during checkout. Try signing out and back in. If the issue persists, contact support.
User changed email and lost their billing
Subscriptions live on the company, not the user. Changing email doesn't lose the subscription.
