Read a rebate
The rebate detail page shows everything you need to know about one rebate program.
Where to find it
- From Rebates → click any rebate row → opens at
/Rebates/{id} - From a tire detail page → click a rebate in the Rebates section
Sections on the page
Header
- Rebate name (e.g. "Michelin Spring 2025 — $80 Visa Prepaid Card")
- Make (manufacturer)
- Status badge: Active / Upcoming / Expired
- Window: start and end dates
Terms
Free-form text from the manufacturer. Read this carefully — typical contents:
- Qualifying products (full list linked under "Qualifying tires")
- Purchase window
- Submission deadline
- Required documentation (receipts, forms)
- Exclusions (specific sizes, fleet purchases, etc.)
Qualifying tires
A list of every tire model included in the rebate. Click any model to jump to its pattern detail.
How to redeem
Usually external (link to manufacturer's redemption site). Tire Library does not process redemptions — the manufacturer does.
Filtering by status
The rebate detail page always shows the full rebate with all of its line items regardless of their status. To filter by status, use the rebate list page at /Rebates?status=Active instead.
Troubleshooting
"Not found" when opening a rebate
The rebate was removed (likely expired and pruned). Search the Rebates list with status Expired to see if it's still in the database.
Rebate link in tire detail page goes to wrong rebate
The list of rebates on a tire detail page is filtered by status — by default it shows all. The tire's rebate_status query param filters that page's section, not the individual rebate.
