Reset your password

Steps

1. On the Login page, click Forgot your password?
2. Enter your email and submit.
3. Check your inbox for an email titled "Reset your Tire Library password".
4. Click the link in the email.
5. Enter your new password twice and submit.
6. You'll be redirected to Login. Sign in with your new password.

How it works

• The reset link is unique to your email and expires after 60 minutes.
• After a successful reset, your email is auto-marked as verified if it wasn't already.
• Reset links are one-time use.

Security

The system intentionally returns the same response whether or not an account exists for the email you submit. This prevents anyone from enumerating which emails have Tire Library accounts.

Troubleshooting

I never received the reset email

• Check spam, junk, Promotions, and Other tabs.
• Wait 5 minutes — delivery can be delayed.
• Make sure emails from hello@tireweblibrary.com are allowlisted.
• Try requesting another reset.

"Invalid or expired password reset token."

• The link is more than 60 minutes old — request a new one.
• The link was already used — request a new one.
• The link was copied with extra whitespace or line breaks.

I requested multiple resets — which link works?

Only the most recent one. Earlier tokens are invalidated when a new one is issued.
